At present, temperature control is done by manual adjustment of the dial

to automatically save the profile curve as a digital instruction by tracing
it on the tablet or PC screen with a pen. Alternatively, it would be very
helpful if the pointing device could be used to rewrite only the parts
of the previous furnace file curves that need to be changed and save them
digitally as is.
If the profile can be freely modified, it will be easier to create an ideal profile, and some people may create profiles based on ideas that have never existed before.

In the near further, the date for green beans will include not only the name of the beans
and the weight of the beans to be roasted, but also the dimensions of the
beans (length, width, thickness, density, moisture content, etc.), the
name of the farm, the harvest year, hydration method, type of fermentation,
and other data as far as it is known, together with the tasting results.
By using AI technology, it is not a dream to create the optimal profile
for unknown beans in a shorter time. Above all, the use of AI requires
the accumulation of roasting data, so the realization of a machine that
digitally records roasting data is urgently needed.

modified by anyone, volunteers may incorporate more useful functions. I
hope that these software can be used freely by anyone. The more people
with different backgrounds that come together, the easier and more attractive
the software will be. If we can attract many enthusiasts, this dream will
surely come true.

Several scientists have been investigated the chemical changes in beans
during roasting and we obtained much knowledge. However, it is only entrance
and the most parts are still behind curtain. The reason is that there are
more than 600 kinds of ingredients contained in raw beans so that the real
reactions are very complex and untraceable.
This time, I use only thermometer as a sensor, but if I got a small sensor that can measure CO2 or other components in the future, we should be able to investigate a step further.
I hope that my roasting machine can respond to the arrival of such an opportunity.
